Well sports fans the entertainment industry is about to crowd the sporting world even more.  It looks like rap artist Jay Z is going to sell his small share in the Brooklyn Nets to expand his Roc Nation business to become an agent for athletes.

Roc Nation is teaming up with CAA to form an athletic agency in hopes of competing for stars in the 2014 draft.  When Mikhail Prokhorov was reached for comment he said: “I wish many luck to Jazy, may he bring star to Brooklyn.”

Jay Z has had a particularly large role in the Brooklyn nets, touching everything from the design of the uniforms, to the design of the $1 billion Barclay center.  Unfortunately, NBA rules do not allow agents to have ownerships in NBA teams.  He’s got 99 problems, but now the Nets aren’t one.
